Bio
David Prince is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has released eleven self-produced albums and EP's, including “Lost In The Dark," and “The Rules of Christmas Revisited,” both released in 2023.
He was born in Illinois and raised in Texas.
He earned a bachelors degree in Music Education from Boise State University and taught music in Idaho and California for several years,all while playing in several rock/country bands.
In 2019, he retired from teaching, moved to Washington State and began to focus on his music full-time, both recording and performing. He is a member of Dr.Rock & the Sturgeons,a local band that brings rock & roll to venues throughout the vast and varied musical landscape of Washington. David continues to perform as a solo artist, as well.
David can also be heard providing harmony vocals on “Create Love,” the latest album by The KCD Band (available on 4/5/24) - a group based in Central Texas and fronted by his long-time friend and musical collaborator, Casey Stanislaw.
He and his wife, Amy, have been married for 39 years and have two grown sons. They currently live and work in Richland, Washington.
